Director of Sales
Under the leadership and direction of the EVP of Champion and President and COO of Great Day, this senior position is a key contributor that will achieve results through collaboration and influence in a matrixed, cross-functional organization. Will act as a change agent and be responsible for leading core strategic initiatives to support the continued growth and development of the sales organization.
With specific focus on:
Sales – Growth, Strategy, Execution, and Leadership
Training, On-Boarding, and Development - for both sales colleagues and sales leaders
Culture - Develop & nurture the continued evolution of the Champion Brand selling, service - customer centric culture.
Performs these duties personally or through others. Key partnerships with the Regional Managers, leadership cross Champion and all Great Day Brands, Finance, Human Resources and other shared services as we ensure performance and growth of Champion and Great Day through strong sales management and sales force development with focus on performance.
- In partnership and support of EVP of Champion develops long range and short-term goals and objectives for current regions/branches and for new / growth businesses and opportunities.
- Leads, develops, and implements strategies in assigned area of responsibility to grow company sales & revenue in accordance with Champion goals and objectives.
- In partnership with Sales Leaders and National Trainers; Leads, formalizes, and creates structures for sales and leadership on-boarding, training and development programs for repeatable results.
- Reviews the market position of competing products, services, and organizations and evaluates their marketing and sales techniques.
- Works with Regional Managers and Regional Sales Managers, in a leadership capacity, to implement and execute company policies and processes and achieve market objectives for both growth and existing locations.
- Analyze sales KPI’s to drive revenue, growth and future profitability and maximum return on investment.
- Assists in opening of new and recently opened geographic locations by hiring, training and developing staff.
- Analyzes the activities, costs, sales and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives and prioritizes actions to improve and recommends and drives sales performance to forecast and above.
- Other duties as directed / assigned by the EVP.
Detail and goal-oriented person with demonstrated success with in-home sales leadership focused on a one-call close direct to consumer business model.Should have at least ten years’experience in In-home sales, training, and sales management. Prior
experience building a team and culture both attractive to talent and focused on performance . Experience with Learning Management Systems desirable. College degree preferred.
