Customer Service - Production Processing

Great Day Improvements / Champion Windows Manufacturing - Customer Service/Production Processing

As the customer service/production processor, you will be responsible for daily preparing work for the production floor. Also, this position interacts with customers on various items, including service parts, material orders, and service orders. Must be familiar with types of windows and service issues.

· Enter service orders and check for accuracy.

· Provide the highest level of service to customers' questions regarding materials, services, etc.

· Update customers on the status of jobs.

· Develop strong working relationships and collaborate/work with other functional areas of the business to meet customer requirements.

· Upload all shipping manifests for affiliate customers.

· Maintain production schedule, adding all batches daily and checking for completion.

· Update backlog and production reports.

· Assist in tracking and receiving custom items as needed.

· Print all labels and paperwork required for daily production.

· Backup scheduler and other customer service areas as needed.

· Other duties as needed.

· 1-2 years of experience in customer experience.

· Related industry experience in customer service.

· Experience in analysis/reporting.

· Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel).

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

· Excellent customer service, both written and verbal.

· Excellent typing and grammar skills.

· Process-focused - structure and consistency is key.

· Great attention to detail and strong organization/time management skills.

· The ability to successfully work as part of a team and autonomously.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods are sitting and working on a computer, while other days will be walking around the manufacturing plant.

· Most days, frequently changing from sitting and standing throughout the day.

· Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time.
